  • My classes are uniquely designed to fill a critical gap in yoga education for birthing people. Truth be told, the major accrediting body for yoga teachers does not offer a postpartum certification or regulate "Baby and Me" yoga classes to ensure safety and standards. Because of this, I’ve meticulously researched and pioneered the development of postpartum yoga, combining physical therapy principles and dynamic exercises with traditional yoga methodologies.

My goal is to empower birthing people with safe, effective, evidence-based practices that go far beyond basic modified yoga done next to your baby. I’m actively working to change the standards in this field by publishing my research in a comprehensive book and developing teacher trainings. These initiatives aim to ensure yoga teachers are equipped to provide birthing people with practices that truly support recovery, strength, and lifelong wellness.

When you attend my classes, you’re not just practicing yoga—you’re part of a movement to set a new standard for postpartum care in the yoga community.

  • Please plan to arrive 5 - 10 minutes prior to class. It's also okay to be late!

  • More than "okay", I expect people to be late. It happens. Especially when you are pregnant or have a baby in tow.

I choose to teach as an independent so that I can offer high quality classes without the constraints a studio implies.

Take your time. Don't run red lights, clean up that blow out, finish your snack.

Whatever it may be, don’t worry.
Your practice begins with not stressing about the constraint of time.

  • For all classes, expect a relaxed casual atmosphere.

    Wear whatever you want.

    Show up when you arrive.

This is no boutique yoga studio where everyone wears designer spandex. Come as you are Mamas! Bring baby as they are. Pajamas welcome, for baby too ;)

I teach independently at a birthing center because I value the warm, welcoming energy held within it’s walls. With all of the birthy energy means there may be babies around.

Sometimes we are honored to witness the eounds of birth and baby’s cries.

I welcome the birth community and all that it brings. Babies may be present in all daytime classes.

Please see each individual class description for specific details.

  • Please ensure classes proceed as planned by reserving your spot as soon as possible. Reservations are required for all class pack holders due to limited capacity.

I maintain a minimum participant requirement and honor a maximum capacity for each class. Classes that don't meet the minimum registration 75 minutes prior will be canceled. While cancellations are regrettable, I will personally contact you if your class is affected.

I reserve the right to cancel classes for any reason, including emergencies such as illness or severe weather. As an independent yoga teacher, I do not use substitute teachers; I handle all classes personally. I schedule my time off well in advance and communicate any changes as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in fostering a supportive and effective learning environment.

  • Class packs and single class purchases are non-refundable to ensure continuity in your wellness journey. They remain valid for three months from the purchase date. Refunds are not provided for no-shows or tardiness, but I understand that life can be unpredictable. Therefore, a 24-hour cancellation policy allows for adjustments, except in emergencies. For partial refunds due to special circumstances, used classes will be billed at the single class rate, and a 20% administrative fee will be deducted from the remainder.

Unused classes can be transferred to a different type, such as from Prenatal to Postpartum, if requested before they expire. When transferring classes, their expiration date will be adjusted to three months from the request date to accommodate your schedule, ensuring no class loses its value.

  • Anything that is comfortable and allows freedom of movement. Yoga is not a fashion show. In fact there are many reasons to avoid wearing very tight fitting clothes when you are pregnant and especially postpartm. When we are working to train our core, tight waistbands can disrupt the way the muscles work preventing their optimal function.

  • Bring anything you need for the duration of class to care for yourself and/ or baby. You can bring it all, but we do have a kitchen sink in the classroom ;)A personal water bottle is a great idea. We do have mugs, a tap, and a hot water kettle. Hot Tea and smalls snacks are available.

  • For Baby: bring a small blanket for them to lay upon. Baby Asana includes their freedom of movement. Laying on the floor is one of the best ways to support their mobility and cognitive development.

Bring anything that baby will need for the duration of class. ie. Diapers, feeding supplies, toys, etc.

  • Right on your mat. There is no need to go anywhere.

You may change baby, feed baby, feed yourself, hold baby, lay in a restorative pose the entire class, step out of the room, stay in the room (yes, even if baby is fussing!), use the restroom, take pictures of you and your baby, whatever YOU need is a part of YOUR Yoga <3

  • Congratulations! Your baby is learning how to express themselves.

Crying, noise, giggles, shrieks are all welcome! Baby can do all that too ;)

All babies are good babies. If I expected babies to be silent and meditate like a Buddha, I would absolutely be in the WRONG business!

In other words, all things babies do is welcome and expected.

You are welcome to step outside of the classroom as well. Sometimes a simple change of scenery can work wonders to shift the modd of baby AND you.

  • As early as the Positive Test until you’re in active labor! It’s never too early to start, and it’s never to late.

Yoga offers numerous benefits throughout pregnancy. Every time you join us for class you are connecting on a deeper level to your pregnancy and your baby.

From physical benefits such as reducing discomforts and relaxing your mind, to supporting a smoother birth experience and better postpartum recovery.

The more time you spend with attention to your yoga, the calmer and more prepared you will be as you become a mother.

  • Not to worry! I understand that baby arrives when they choose. That’s one of the mysteries of birth. If you don’t use all of your Prenatal classes, they can be transfered to postpartum or my Core + Pelvic Floor class. Please let me know ASAP. I will make the adjustment on your account. Transfered classes also restart the expiration date.

We offer plenty of free parking in our private lot. As you enter, take a moment to enjoy the peaceful courtyard, perfect for relaxing before class or connecting with fellow students afterward. The yoga classroom is located on the left (East) side of the courtyard—please note that there is no access through the "clinic" or "birth" entrances.

Our space includes a private en suite bathroom and kitchenette for your convenience. I provide small snacks, hot tea, and water, but feel free to bring anything you'd like for the duration of the class.
